The veteran tribute photos that are the property of the
Silversides Submarine Museum as well as the extensive
background information kept in a database is always available for anyone
to see Monday through Friday. There is no charge to view
the information nor to email it. If you want a hard copy mailed to you,
you will have to pay the postage. All you need do is request to view
the information at the admission desk. The employee there will direct
you to a staff member who will retrieve the photo and information on
one of the museum's computers. Of course, if you also want to
tour the museum, you must pay the normal admission fee. However,
no admission fee is required just to view the photos.
Once we know someone is interested, the visitors are shown into
the office and staff looks up the photos on our computers. We gladly
print out copies at no charge and look up as many names as they wish.
If the individual veteran you are interested in is not in our database,
we explain that the project is a growing work in progress. The visitors
are then given Richard Mullally's name, e-mail address and/or phone
number so they can make arrangements to add their friends and/or
relatives to the project.
